Linux overlays not staying in front of the game
Different Linux distributions come with different versions of desktop/window managers which treat the overlay windows differently. If your overlay windows aren't always staying on top of the game, try some of these options:
KDE and similar
- Open
System Settings > Window Management > Window Rules - Click
Add New...at the top right of the window. - Click
Detect Window Properties(A selection tool appears and you will want to click the TOR HUD window) - If the
Add property to the rulemodal does not pop up, click the+ Add Property...button. - Scroll down and select
Layeror search for it in the search box. - Change the layer from
NormalorDesktoptoOverlayand make sure it's also set toForce - Click
Apply
Your TOR HUD overlay will sit over any fullscreen application including SWTOR. Feel free to minimize the TOR HUD control panel otherwise it will show over any applications as well.
